While you’re watching your favorite game (cough cough, Mets on Twitter) you can see how they’re doing and what other fans are saying. Screw the TV commentators! whenyc is a site that i highly recommend all new yorkers check out, who are interested in finding the best of nyc blogs, and finding out about nyc concerts! the site features daily mp3s from the latest buzz bands touring the city, pictures around the nyc area, and it’s really great all around.

Spoon - Written in Reverse mp3  The new Spoon song posted over at whenyc is amazing. The new Spoon single from Transference, “Written in Reverse”, is out digitally tomorrow, with a 7” release to follow January 5. Transference itself is due out mid-January. (via best of nyc)

Descriptions are short and sweet, but imeem mp3 embeds and artist bio’s are present for each artist. They seem to definitely be on the cutting edge of music.
